Amy Packer Retiring

Amy Packer is Retiring!
Amy Packer, NLSEC Audiologist, will be retiring after 34 years!  Amy is known for her witty remarks and passion for helping students with hearing impairments. Over the years, Amy has been dedicated to improving her knowledge in auditory disorders and using that knowledge to help others improve their quality of life. Amy always has a kind word for others, and is a wonderful listener, making her an excellent communicator.

Amy has worked in special education for 25 years, 14 with the Northeast Service Cooperative, and the past 10 with NLSEC with a year as part time 2009-2010. She began career with 5 years in clinical audiology, Desert Ear, Nose, and Throat in Rancho Mirage CA, Sacramento ENT, and the Duluth Clinic (now Essentia Health). 

She plans to pursue her hobbies of hiking, biking, skiing, kayaking, exercising, camping, scrapbooking, and something new to be decided! She hopes to do a lot of traveling, both in the United States and internationally. Her and her husband plan to purchase a couple's travel trailer for camping in national and state parks, and in national forests. Also, she hopes to spend time with their kids, and extended family. 

Amy will be working part time as the audiologist at the Masonic Children's Clinic in Duluth for the near future.
