Mary Wilkinson is retiring
Mary Wilkinson is retiring at the end of January after 35 years of teaching! 

Mary started her career working in Duluth Public Schools as a special education teacher in 1988, teaching students with learning disabilities.  She went on eventually to add teaching E/BD, worked in a residential treatment setting and earned her master's degree from University of St. Thomas in 1990.  She retired from ISD#709 in 2014 and was quickly convinced to start working again for Proctor Public Schools teaching Special Education later that same year, which she has ever since.  In Mary's next chapter, she plans to spend her time getting back to doing her favorite things in life - riding her horses, alpine skiing, and traveling.  She's especially excited to visit her son in California! 

Many thanks and congratulations to Mary for all of the years she spent committed to teaching students with disabilities and her passion for the field.  Well deserved!
